Lily Ho I currently work for the Internal Revenue Service. What I’ve noticed is that when people find out where I work, they either immediately stop talking to me or are particularly curious toward my job. I always feel compelled to explain that my job doesn’t involve auditing individual returns, only those of large companies. I visit large companies and analyze and process their computer systems to develop various database applications. That’s it for my job!!! I came to the United States in 1969. Before that I graduated from Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan. I earned a master degree in Library Science from State University of New York at Albany in June 1971. I married Ting the same year. Later, I obtained a B.A. in Business Administration, majoring in accounting and minoring in computer programming. I started working for the IRS in 1987. We moved from Dayton, Ohio to Indianapolis in 2000. My husband, Ting, has since retired, but he actually never stops working. He is always trying new endeavors and he keeps himself very busy. My elder daughter, Christina, lives in Beijing where she coordinates the Bill Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS initiative in China. She is now assisting the China government in setting up the health care policy on HIV/AIDS. My other daughter, Barbara who graduated from University of Chicago Law School in June 2003, now is a criminal trial lawyer. She works at the Public Defender’s office in Miami, Florida.
Jimmy Yee and Family My name is Jimmy Yee and I was born in Rangoon, Burma. My wife and I have two daughters. Our oldest daughter is a high school art teacher in Colorado and our youngest daughter is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. I have worked for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources - Regulatory
Section as a hydraulic engineer. I retired from the State a few years
ago and is currently working as a Realtor and real estate investor. Next Page >> New Council Member Bios(Continued)
